We love Madison designer Nate Opdahl’s Tees, but have never gotten around to buying one… until today.
One of Opdal’s Tees is the featured shirt today at Chicago-based RIPT Apparel, on online shop that offers one new, screen-printed designer shirt every day. The cost for each shirt is $10 (plus shipping and handling, which is $2.50 for first class mail). The gimmick is each shirt is available for only 24 hours. At 12 Midnight (CST) the current shirt for sale expires and a new shirt becomes available.
Why do they do this? Here’s what the folks at RIPT have to say: “Our one-a-day sales model is an exciting opportunity to promote discovery of new artists while also creating potential collector’s items that customers can wear with pride. There’s nothing quite like being there at the start of a great artist’s career.”
