Enjoy live music with your lunch or morning coffee as jazz violinist Randal Harrison embarks upon his “Bach in a Backpack” tour of local cafes and coffeehouses, which is scheduled to begin today and run through the end of November — and may well be extended through December.
Harrison begins his “Bach in a Backpack” tour with an 8:30 a.m. performance on Monday, November 2nd at Mother Fool’s Coffeehouse, 1101 Williamson Street.
Additional performances this week are scheduled for noon Wednesday, November 4th at Cafe Zoma, 2326 Atwood Avenue; 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 5th at The Mermaid Cafe, 1929 Winnebago Street; and 9 a.m. Friday, November 6th at Ground Zero, 744 Williamson Street.
Thereafter, Harrison will perform at each location at the same time and day through November (no performance on Thanksgiving Day). It is likely that this performance schedule will continue through December. A detailed schedule is available at the end of this post.
