Cherries Jubilee
Metcalfe’s Market, 726 North Midvale Boulevard (a.k.a. Hilldale Sentry) is hosting a “holiday open house” this weekend from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th.
There will be over 25 “delicious demos” each day. Plus 90% of the featured products are local, including goodies from Clausen’s Bakery, Potter’s Crackers, and David Bacco Chocolates.
On Saturday, you can sample Cherries Jubilee made in the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture’s giant 5 foot frying pan.
This event almost slipped our minds, but thanks to a Tweet from Madison Foodie, we remembered that we’ve been hankering to sample some [free] David Bacco chocolates, so we’re writing this post before we head out to do errands, sample chocolate, and enjoy another beautiful fall day in Wisconsin.
