Steve Meisner
Enjoy an evening of dancing and great music with friends — all at no charge! — when Steve Meisner and his polka band perform at a free concert at the Monona Terrace Exhibition Hall A from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11th as part of the Fall 2009 “Tunes at Monona Terrace” series. A wooden dance floor will be available for the enjoyment of all dancers.
Meisner is a multi-talented musician, composer, and arranger, who’s been playing the accordion since he was 5 years old. One of his goals as a musician has been to convince the public to look beyond the stereotypical notions about polka. He’s brought his brand of traditional American polka into the 21st century “with a fresh spark & swing while retaining the roots of this music.”
Themed menu specials, snacks, beer, cocktails, and soft drinks are available for purchase beginning at 5 p.m.
Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center is pleased to help sponsor this program, as well as numerous other free events made available to the public each year. Parking is available for $4 in the Monona Terrace parking ramp at One John Nolen Drive. For further information call (608) 261-4000 or visit the Monona Terrace website.
