Learn about cranberries and take home some free samples of cranberry products

November 9, 2009

Cranberries
Cranberries? They’re not just for Thanksgiving. Wisconsin is a true champion when it comes to this small, but tastefully tart fruit: It is the state’s most valuable fruit crop at $115 million.

Learn more about cranberries by attending the next “Wisconsin’s Best” lecture at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18th at the Ebling Symposium Center, 1550 Linden Drive.

Join Executive Director of the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association, Tom Lochner, as he leads guests through the in-and-outs of the cranberry industry.

After the lecture, you’ll have an opportunity to sample and take home free samples of cranberry products..

This event is free and open to the public, but if you plan to attend, please register online by November 16th, so there are enough cranberry product samples for everyone in attendance.
