While supplies last, Starbucks Coffee Company is celebrating the holidays by giving customers who spend at least $15 at a participating store a complimentary “All You Need Is Love” limited time offer CD, featuring Starbucks and (RED)™ exclusive tracks from John Legend, U2, Dave Matthews Band and Playing for Change.
This offer is part of a promotion that, “… gives customers an opportunity to shop at Starbucks and give back. For a limited time, customers can turn any purchase (RED)™ by spending $15 in a participating Starbucks store in the U.S. and Canada and Starbucks will contribute $1 U.S. to the Global Fund.”
“To date, less than a year after launching our partnership with (RED)™, Starbucks has generated contributions equaling more than 6 million daily doses of antiretroviral medicine through the purchase of select Starbucks (RED)™ products to help those living with HIV in Africa,” says Howard Schultz, Starbucks chairman, president and CEO.
Also launching on November 17th is the www.Starbucksloveproject.com, a website where customers can explore the “All You Need Is Love” CD, view exclusive videos, and contribute a drawing to the ‘Love Gallery’, resulting in a five cent U.S. contribution from Starbucks to the Global Fund.
