Emily Mills of the Shabelles
Everyone’s favorite garage-surf-pop band, The Shabelles, are teaming up with Sylvia Beach for a FREE post-Thanksgiving celebration tour de force at Mickey’s Tavern, 1524 Wiillamson Street from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Friday, November 27th. Promoters promise the concert will “rock you right out of your turkey-induced torpor!”
The Shabelles, a Madison area band formed by Adam Schabow of The Kites, features the protean Emily Mills (opera live blogger, eater of venison, Isthmus columnist, novelist, and member of Little Red Wolf) on drums.
