The new Hy-Vee grocery store at 3801 East Washington Avenue is hosting a FREE tasting for Batch #1 of Pearl Street Brewery’s Dankenstein Imperial India Pale Ale from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 31st.
If you’re not familiar with this limited edition beer, here’s what the folks at Pearl Street Brewery have to say about it on their website: “Brew with a monster mix of pure barley malts and stitched together with an insane amount of the stinkiest hops we could find, the frightful concoction is determined to be quite dank. It is quadruple-hopped in the brewkettle and fermented on even more hops. This is one of our famous rotating house beers that had previously only been available in our Tasting Room but was made available in bottles in 2009.”
If you’re unable to attend the tasting, you can still buy some Dankenstein Imperial India Pale Ale (while supplies last) at Hy-Vee, Woodman’s West, Star Liquor, Riley’s, Barrique’s Fitchburg, Vic Pierce Liquor, and Steve’s.
