See your photo displayed in Times Square in 2010!

December 31, 2009

Wow! Here’s your chance to see your photo displayed in Times Square! You won’t have 15 minutes of fame, but you will have 10 seconds — and Kodak, which is sponsoring this opportunity, says you’ll be able to control when your photo shows up on their huge digital display at “The Crossroads of the World.” Furthermore, you’ll be able to display your photo up to six times during a 30-day period, which means you can experience at least a minute of fame during 2010.

There is no charge for this opportunity, but it does require a mobile telephone, so message and data charges may apply.

We suspect there will be millions of people eager to see their photo displayed on Times Square, so it’s probably unreasonable to expect your photo to show up on the display at midnight tonight. A bit of scheduling flexibility will no doubt be necessary.

If you’re ready to get started, visit Thomas Hoehn’s post on the “A Thousand Words” section of the Kodak website for complete instructions.

And have a Happy New Year!
