The Admiralty restaurant in the Edgewater Hotel is trying to persuade diners to enjoy a meal in its elegant dining room (with marvelous views of frozen Lake Mendota) on Wednesday evenings in February.
Make a dinner reservation for any Wednesday night in February, mention the code words “DATE NIGHT” and you’ll receive one free entrée with the purchase of one of equal or greater value. The least expensive entrée on the current dinner menu is butternut squash ravioli at $26. But if you’re going to splurge on dinner at The Admiralty, we recommend the Steak Diana at $36 because it’s prepared tableside, adding a touch of theater to your dining experience.
