
Tickets are now on sale for “Madison Movie Mania,” a day-long series of movie screenings for kids and their families from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on April 1st on two screens at the Orpheum Theater, 216 State Street.
The event, which takes place during Madison Metropolitan School District’s Spring Break, is being presented as a benefit for children’s programs at the Lussier Community Education Center.
The five films in the lineup are:
- “Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit” at 10:30 a.m.
- “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey” at 10:30 a.m.
- “E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial” at 12:30 p.m.
- “Shrek” (in Spanish!) at 12:45 p.m.
- “The Wizard of Oz” at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $5 per film for those 18 and up and $3 per film for those under 18. They may be purchased at the door or ordered online from the Lussier Center. Tickets may also be purchased at the following locations (cash and check only):
