The Willy Street Co-op at 1221 Williamson Street is hosting a “Second Saturday Tasting of Staff Picks” from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 13th in the Co-op Community Room. The event will feature free samples of the staff’s favorite locally prepared products.
According to a note on the wall of their Facebook page: “It looks like it will be quite a feast with bites of lamb sausage sandwiches, vegetarian chili with seitan and herb tofu, green smoothies, and rich chewy Sheba bars!”
Prior to this event, at 3 p.m. Potter’s Crackers will be at the store to offer free samples of their locally-made artisanal crackers.
