Stop by the Alicia Ashman Branch Library, 733 North High Point Road between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6th to meet herpetologist Tom Kessenich and explore the world of reptiles with his FREE hands-on presentation, SNAKES ALIVE!™.
According to the SNAKES ALIVE! website, “Since his youth, Tom has been a ‘hands-on’ herpetologist, exploring the fields and streams near his home is southern Wisconsin. Fascinated by all nature had to offer, he continued to expand his knowledge, collection and territory. From local pet stores and nature centers to traveling to other states, his interests lead him to Wisconsin Dells where he became the Head Zookeeper at the renowned Serpent Safari Reptile Zoo from 1996-1998.”
If you can’t attend this event, Kessenich will be visiting other locations in Wisconsin and Illinois during the next month. On at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3rd, he’ll be at the Sequoya Branch of the Madison Public Library, 4340 Tokay Boulevard. Registration is required for this appearance (registration opens at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 22nd).
