Vaudeville, magic, rock ‘n roll, burlesque! It’s the annual Dane101 Fireball Masquerade with the Yard Dogs Road Show starting at 9 p.m. on Friday July 9th at The Majestic Theatre,115 King Street.
We’ve been receiving intriguing invitations to this event from some of our favorite people, that say things like this: “To all the Freaks, Geeks & Romantics: PLEASE invite your friends to this…let’s represent and show these San Franciscans how we do things up north!”
So we did some searching and decided this is definitely an event worth attending — especially since tickets are a mere $10! In addition to the Yard Dogs Road Show, the Fireball Masquerade will feature local talent, including Ashar Dance, Foxy Veronica’s Peach Pies, James the Magician, and DJ Nick Nice. Hosting the event is the “incomparable” Miss Tamale.

And we almost forgot to address the masquerade part of this extravaganza… Event sponsors say, “We encourage everyone to dress to the nines for the occasion, regardless of how you define “nines.” Come in your prom getup, steampunk duds, fetish gear, Star Trek dress blues, Renaissance finery, or anything else that makes you feel good!”
