$25 family membership to Olbrich Botanical Gardens (includes lots of terrific extras)

June 22, 2011

Olbrich Botanical Gardens is one of Madison’s most beautiful places to visit — summer or winter. Explore the outdoor gardens and visit the splendid Thai Pavilion in the summer. Or get away from winter’s gloom with a visit to the tropical paradise inside the Bolz Conservatory. Groupon is currently offering a terrific deal on membership: $25, for a one-year Garden Family membership to the Olbrich Botanical Gardens (a $55 value).

The family membership includes two adults, along with all their minor children and grandchildren. Although a visit to the outdoor gardens is always free, there are admission charges to the Bolz Conservatory and special events such as the annual Blooming Butterflies. Members, however, pay no admission fees.

What makes this deal even more appeal are some of the extras that come with it, including a one-year subscription to Better Homes and Gardens and a 20% discount on many of the classes offered by Olbrich Botanical Gardens. We think one the the best “extras” is reciprocity: Your Olbrich Botanical Gardens membership will get you free admission to more than 230 other gardens throughout the United States and Canada, including Mitchell Park Conservatory – The Domes in Milwaukee (where a single admission is otherwise $6.50)

Fine print: Expires Sept 24, 2011. Limit 1 per person, may buy 2 additional as gifts. Limit 1 per visit. Must activate by 9/24/11, membership expires 1 year from activation date. New members only.

Note: If you haven’t signed up for Groupon yet, please use this link to get started. If you are already a Groupon member and click through on one of our other links to purchase an offer, Madison on the Cheap receives a [very small] commission. We appreciate your support.

This offer expires at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday June 23nd, 2011.
